The event is being held October 5 and 6 at the Newseum in Washington, DC. Inspired by The Atlantic’s partnership with the Aspen Ideas Festival, the third-annual Washington Ideas Forum is expected to gather an audience of 600 people, including government officials, top business executives, global thought leaders, academics and celebrities.
Clifford will speak on the morning of October 5th during the Energy, Environment, and Sustainability Working Summit that will focus on the commitment to sustainable energy, the lack of corporate investments in non-carbon energy sources, and the financial, political, and social implications of investing in nuclear energy. The Aspen Institute’s Executive Director of the Energy and Environment Program, David Monsma, will guide the conversation during the Summit.
